Caitlin M. A. Chugg
Caitlin Chugg joined the firm in 2013. She is a native New Yorker who grew up primarily in Connecticut. She attended Southern Connecticut State University and studied abroad at the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow, Scotland to do primary research for an Honors Thesis in History. She graduated magna cum laude from the S.C.S.U. Honors College in 2011 with a Bachelor of Arts in History. Thereafter, she moved to Baton Rouge, Louisiana to study at the Paul M. Hebert Law Center of Louisiana State University. During law school, she participated in several public interest/criminal law externships, was an active member of the Louisiana Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers Student Chapter and clerked for James E. Boren. Ms. Chugg graduated with her Juris Doctor and Graduate Diploma in Comparative Law in 2014. She was admitted to the Louisiana State Bar in 2014 and now practices criminal defense. She is a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association, the Baton Rouge Bar Association and the Louisiana Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.
