Shannon started her legal career in 2000 after graduating from Tulane Law School in New Orleans. She joined the Manasseh, Gill, Knipe & Bélanger law firm in 2017, bringing a unique combination of skills and experience as an accountant and as attorney previously representing insurance companies.
A Baton Rouge native, Shannon previously worked as an attorney at Manasseh, Gill & Joubert, and at the law firms Terry Butcher & Associates and Sharp, Henry, Cerniglia, Colvin, Weaver & Hymel.
In her second year at Tulane Law School, Shannon was a member of the Moot Court Team and earned the Best Oralist – Appellate Advocacy Award in the National Moot Court Competition.
Shannon offers her legal knowledge combined with compassion and care for her clients. Shannon sees her role as a lawyer to provide help without judging when clients and their families are facing their toughest moments.
Shannon is a member of St. George Catholic Church and the St. George Athletic Association where her two daughters compete on the volleyball, basketball and soccer teams. She is also a volunteer and member of the Baton Rouge Symphony League. She is a volunteer and member of the Baton Rouge Symphony League that supports fundraising, service and education efforts of the Baton Rouge Symphony Orchestra.
